MASSIE, James Reginald “Reg“ - (Retired from Metropolitan Life and Clarica Financial Services after 30 years of service). Peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital after a brief illness, on Wednesday October 3rd, 2007 in his 77th year. Beloved husband for 50 wonderful years of Shirley L. Massie (nee Petherick). Loving father of Jeff Massie (Roxanne Wannamaker) of Belleville, Janet Williams (Wayne) of Plainfield, Scott Massie (Shannon) of Peterborough, and Cheryl Massie of Belleville. Dearly loved by his grandchildren Shawn and Cory Williams, Sloan, Andrew and Eric Massie. Friends are invited to call at the BELLEVILLE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 68 North Front Street, Belleville on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Mark's United Church, Cannifton Road, Cannifton on Saturday October 6th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. (with visitation also one hour prior to service). Rev. Cathy Paul officiating. Cremation, with a private family interment in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Cambellford at a later date.
