SCRIVENS, Jack Richard - Of Sundridge, peacefully at the Lady Isabelle Nursing Home, Trout Creek on Sunday, September 23, 2007 in his 85th year. Jack Scrivens, beloved husband of the late Alice Scrivens (nee Salvage). Loving father of Linda Murray (Malcolm) of Hamilton, John Scrivens (Janet) of Kitimat, B.C., Marilyn Beaton of Powassan, Lorraine Miller (Patrick) of Callander and Barbara Foisy (Alan) of Bonfield. Cherished grandfather of Joe and Jamie Scrivens, Jason, Christopher and Gregory Miller, Darren Murray, great- grandfather of Rylie and Draikyn Miller, Mallory, Emily and Benjamin Scrivens. Dear brother of Lorne Scrivens of Sundridge and Eva Richardson of Nanaimo, B.C. Predeceasd by his parents Ernest and Grace (Jones) Scrivens, sister Betty French, brothers Earl and Don. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and his many friends in the area. The late Mr. Jack Scrivens will rest at the MOORE'S FUNERAL CHAPEL, 9 Paget Street, Sundridge on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #467 Sundridge are asked to gather in the Chapel for a tribute service Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel on Thursday September 27, 2007 at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Lori Campbell officiating. Interment at Strong Cemetery, Sundridge. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Almaguin Highlands Community Living would be sincerely appreciated by the family. 10839445
