HARWOOD, Richard “Dick“ - At the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Sunday, September 23, 2007, Richard “Dick“ James Harwood, age 70 of Chatham. Beloved husband and best friend of wife Diane (Congdon) Harwood for 46 years. Born in Chatham in 1937, son of Margaret Medland Harwood Studnicka of Chatham. Richard worked in the Automotive field as a Process Engineer. He is a member of St. Andrew's United Church, was treasurer of A.O.T. S. of St. Andrew's Church, a member of the Ridgetown Legion and a member of the Seniors Kent Golf League. Beloved father of Elizabeth Diane Myers and her husband William “Bill“ of Chatham, Melissa Annette Louzon and her husband Rod of Chatham. Special Poppa to Josh, Andrew and Alesha Myers and Taylor and Madison Louzon. Brother of Brian Harwood and his wife Shirley of Chatham, Dennis Harwood and his wife Denise of Tillsonburg and Beth Studnicka and her husband Dave of Wallaceburg. Special Uncle to many nieces and nephews and great nephews and a niece. He is predeceased by a brother Michael Harwood (1974) and step-father Joseph Studnicka (1988). Friends and relatives may call at the Funeral Home, 156 William St. S. Chatham from 7-9 p.m. on Monday, September 24, 2007 and again on Tuesday, September 25th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service will be conducted in St. Andrew's United Church, on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 11:00 am with Rev.
