CARKNER, John - Passed away peacefully at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on September 22, 2007 at the age of 45. John was the beloved son of the late Jim and Alice Carkner. Loving brother of Elizabeth and Roger Hutchinson, Marie and Charles Ross, Robert and Elizabeth Carkner, Catherine and Harvey Hutchinson, Thomas and Valerie Carkner, Henry Carkner, Jerry and Tracy Carkner, and Junior and Patricia Carkner. Predeceased by Bill Carkner, Faye Parcells, and Jeanette Foster. Survived by sister in law Janeanne Carkner, and brother in laws Clinton Parcells and Lloyd Foster. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Special friend of Gloria Horton and all the residents and staff at Community Living Kawartha Lakes. Visitation will be held at the MACKEY FUNERAL HOME, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay on Wednesday, September 26th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in the chapel on Thursday, September 27th at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. If desired memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association, or to Community Living Kawartha Lakes would be appreciated by the family. 10837873
