MAYNARD, Norman Ernest (Ba. Hon) Queens 1977 - After a brief illness on Friday, September 28, 2007 at the Brantford General Hospital in his 54th year. Dear brother of Roger of Brantford and cousin of Alison Parish of Ajax and Courtney (Gord) Summers and their children Cameron and Kennedy of Oshawa. Norm will be dearly remembered by Brantford General MH Unit, CHMA Alternatives, Taoist Tai Chi Society of Brantford, as well as the ladies at the Eagle Place Apothecary and many friends. Published poet and writer of short stories, Norm faced illness most of his adult life. He never complained and met his fate with equanimity. He was well loved. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Norm's life will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at 2:00 pm. at Pleasant Valley Community Church, 100 Market St. South (former site of Forbes Brothers).
