SMITH, Catherine Anne 'Cathy' Unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital in Kingston, after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. The former Catherine Anne Haggerty, at the age of 47. Beloved wife of Christopher Smith and cherished mother of Brittany. Dear daughter of Glenn Haggarty and Barbara Charlton and much loved sister of Randy Haggerty and his wife Michelle, all of Ivanhoe. Remembered fondly by her mother-in-law Irene Smith (her late husband Angus) of Peterborough, brothers-in-law Stewart Smith and his wife Linda of Peterborough and Glenn Smith of London, Ontario and by sisters-in-law Anne Dunford and her husband Robert, also of Peterborough and Peggy Logan of Austin, Texas. Also remembered by her cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends. Resting at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, CATARAQUI CHAPEL (1900 John Counter Boulevard) Kingston, on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Monday, October 1, 2007 for service in the chapel of the funeral home at 2 pm, The Reverend Paul Silcock officiating. The family extends an invitation to all for a time of fellowship in the reception area of the funeral home, following the service. Interment on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at Rosemount Memorial Gardens in Peterborough at 1 pm.
