BRAUNE, Hermann, Herbert, Max - It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Herb Braune in his 85th years at St. Joseph's Hospital in Elliot Lake, on September 21, 2007. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Else Braune. Former London Resident since 1956, Herbert and Else were owners of their family business Braune's Furs Ltd. They had recently moved to Elliot Lake in 2005. Herb is survived by his loving daughters Eleonore Zimmerschied (Heinz) and Elizabeth Kanski (Joseph), his cherished ghrand-childrn Maria Wilkie (Ron) and Robert Langhans (Uta), Alexander and Natasha Kanski, warmly remembered by his great- grand-children Lucas and Robert Wilkie, Jana-Lena and Tobias Langhans. Out of respect for his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will take place at a later date. If you wish to give a memorial contribution, please consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society. Special thanks go to Dr. Pun and Dr. Matheson and the incredible staff at St. Joseph's Hospital.
