MAYER-PROVOST-SABOURIN, Rose - Mrs. Mayer-Provost-Sabourin (née Godard) passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at the Versa Care Centre in Cornwall, Ontario. Age 96 years. Formerly of Glengarry Boulevard, Cornwall. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Mayer, the late Rolland Provost and the late Oscar Sabourin. Dear mother of Cecile (Mrs. Georges Caron) of Elbridge, New York and Therese (Mrs. Lucien Brisson) of Cornwall. Dear sister of Raoul Godard (Mercedes) of St.Albert, Leonard Godard of Cornwall, Harvey Godard of Sudbury and Mrs. Gilberte Bourgeois of Rockland, Ontario Also survived by eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Dear daughter of the late Camille Godard and the late Marie- Anne Provost. Predeceased by one son, Ernest Mayer, one daughter, Rita Mayer, one brother, Joseph Godard and by five sisters, Mrs. Annette Godard, Mrs. Germaine Morin, Mrs. Rita Sabourin, Mrs. Alice Robillard and Mrs. Irene Farley. Resting at the BOULERICE FUNERAL HOME LTD., (613- 932-5455) 218 Montreal Road, Cornwall, Ontario on Sunday, August 26 from 2 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 27, 2007 for Mass of Christian Burial in St.Felix-de-Valois church at 11 a.m. Interment in Notre-Dame cemetery, Cornwall, Ontario.
