Rolande (Hébert) Schaefer (enseignante et bibliotécaire dévouée dans les écoles françaises catholiques de la région); age 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Clarence (Schaeff) Schaefer. Dear mother of Marc Schaefer (Claudette) of Summerstown, Jeannine (Jean) Gagnon of Russell and Daniel Schaefer (Beverley) of Williamstown. Loving grandmother of Gaetan (Andrea), Jason (Pascale), Chantal, Josée (Luc), Nicole (Mike), Laurie (Kevin), Robb and Victoria. Great-grandmother of Émilie, Catherine and Anna. Dear daughter of the late Albra Hébert and the late Sarianna Viau. Dear sister of Lucien Hébert (Yvonne) of Calgary, Alberta, Gérard Hébert of Creg Quay, Marcel Hébert (Paulette) of Lancaster and Lucile Roach of Ottawa. Predeceased by sisters, Alvena, Berthe, Rita, Ernestine and Rosa Hébert and Juliette Shanks and brother, Roland Hébert (Suzanne). She will be fondly remembered by Mary Rivers (Don) of Lambeth, Ontario and will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Resting at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch, 614 First Street East (613-933-2841) from 2 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Monday, September 3, 2007 for Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter's Church at 11 a.m. Interment, Notre Dame Cemetery. The family will be in attendance from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral on Monday.
