PRUEGGER, Franz Xaver - The family announces with sorrow his death in Sudbury, Sunday July 1st, 2007 at the age of 75 years. Son of the late Franz Toma and of the late Genofeva Schweiger. Predeceased by his step-father Friedrich Schweiger. Beloved husband of Sylvia Pruegger (nee Harvey) of Sudbury. Loving father of Gena Pruegger (Ken Ellis) of Garson, Calla Pruegger (Dave Jarvis) of Brockville, Franz Jr. Pruegger (Mary Anne) of Cambridge and Stacey Pruegger (Jenny) of Toronto. Dear brother of Rudy Weltin and Helmut Schweiger (Heidi) both of Austria. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Derek (Leanne), Stephanie (Sean), John Jr. (Beth), Rebecca (Matt), Jeremy (Natalie), Trevor and his great-granddaughter Emily. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, niece-in-law Jane Weist (Jim), sister-in-law Sandra McLennan (Fred) and family. Franz was a devoted husband, father and his family was his pride and joy. A man of great knowledge, he enjoyed collecting maps, listening to classical music and was a fan of the Globe and Mail. At Mr. Pruegger's request there will no visitation and no funeral service. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, SUDBURY.
