Cyril Richards After having been in ill health for three-and-a-half years, Cyril Richards died July 3, 2007 at the Temiskaming Lodge. Mr. Richards was born to Sam and Mary Ellen Richards in Cornwall, England, on February 8, 1912. He married his wife Gladys in Cornwall in 1936. Mr. Richards worked as gardener for five years and served in the Royal Air Force overseas during World War II from 1942-46. He moved to Northern Ontario on September 17, 1948 and worked as a gold miner in Kirkland Lake until his retirement, later moving to New Liskeard. Mr. Richards is survived by his daughter Margaret (husband John) Birimcombe, Valerie Boone and family, Hayley, Dana, Amanda and family. He was predeceased by his wife Gladys, son Roger and grandson Mark Boone. The funeral was arranged by Perrin Funeral Chapel in New Liskeard. Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends attending the service from out of town came from Kirkland Lake, Cornwall and Temiskaming Shores. Condolences and donations may be left at www.perrinfuneralchapel.com
