DUROCHER, Noëlla Emily (née Larocque) - Born December 15, 1922 in Gogama, Ontario, Noëlla, who lived at 200 Ste. Anne Rd., Sudbury, died from heart failure on January 7, 2007 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital. She was 84 years old. Noëlla was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Anthime Durocher. Noëlla and Joe lived in Timmins and Elliot Lake, Ontario and in Chapais and Val d'Or, Québec. Noëlla is missed by her three sons, Marcel, Claude (Karen), and Roger (Micheline); six grandchildren, Camille, Jonathan (Natalie), Johanne, Stéphanie (Jeff), Francis and Jérémie; and by her sister, Armande Blaney and her family. A special thanks to Armande and to her daughter, Carol Noble and husband, John for all their help to Noëlla these last few years. A memorial service will be held at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 118 McMurray St., Bracebridge, Ontario at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 27, 2007. Interment of her ashes will be at the Civic Memorial Cemetery in Sudbury on Wednesday, July 25th, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Multiple Sclerosis or the Canadian Cancer Societies.
