Cecile Bergeron On July 19, 2007, Englehart resident Cecile Bergeron died at the Northview Nursing Home in Englehart. She was born in Montreal on June 1, 1916, to Rodrigue Lauzon and Alberta Neveu. She was educated in Sainte-Anne-Des-Plaines, Quebec, where she also married her husband Emilien Bergeron on May 3, 1947. They moved here that same year, from Sainte-Anne-Des-Plaines, where she was a housewife and worked on the farm. She was a member of the Catholic Woman’s League at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church Englehart. She is survived by her children, Lucie Bergeron and Albert Bergeron (wife Claudette); grandchildren Michelle, Valerie and David; great grandchild, Kiana; siblings, Madeleine Bourdua (husband Victor), Pauline and Noel. She was predeceased by her husband, Emilien and a daughter who died at two months of age; parents, Rodrigue and Alberta; brothers, Bruno, Joseph-Albert, Roger and Aime. Her funeral service was held at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Englehart, July 24, 2007, at 2 p.m. Father Wayne Mills conducted the service. Burial is at Englehart Cemetery. In memory contributions can be made to the Northview Nursing Home in Englehart.
