LEROUX, Aurilda (née St-Onge) - The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Tuesday, July 31st, 2007 at the age of 94 years. Daughter of the late Emile and of the late Valérie (née Brousseau) St-Onge. Wife of the late Nestor Leroux predeceased in 1971. Loving mother of Jacques Leroux (late Mary) of Baldwin, Jacqueline Laurin (late Cléo) of Azilda, Normand Leroux of Blezard Valley, Cléo Leroux (Clémence) of St-Catharines, Clément Leroux (Gaby), Marcel Leroux (Colette), Lucille Smith (Don), Gérard Leroux and Roger Leroux (Lise) all of Chelmsford. Dear sister of Florida Leeds of Florida, Gloria Gervais (late Aurel), Jeannine Boudreau both of Sudbury and Rodolphe St-Onge(Rita) of Azilda. Predeceased by her brothers Wilfrid (Françoise of Val Caron), Hervé (Loria of Chelmsford), Émile St-Onge (Rita of Chelmsford) and Mary Caron (late Pierre). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 26 grandchildren, her 44 great-grandchildren and her 5 great- great-grandchildren. A former resident of Chelmsford, Mrs. Leroux was very dedicated to her children and loved by all who knew her. Aurilda had a special bond with her sons-in-law and daughters-in-law and all will treasure fond memories of her. She was an excellent cook and will especially be remembered for her delicious homemade pies. In her leisure time, Aurilda enjoyed needlework and through her labour of love, created many beautiful crocheted afghans for her precious family. The family will receive friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691, R R 15, CHELMSFORD, Thursday from 2-5 and 7- 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, August 3rd, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in St-Joseph Church, Chelmsford. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.
