JAWORSKI, Anton “Tony“ - In loving memory of Anton “Tony“ Jaworski, age 79, who passed away on Sunday, July 29th, 2007 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - St. Joseph's Health Center, following a courageous battle with cancer. Tony was born 27th of May 1928 in Maysfield, Saskatchewan to Alfreda Jaworkski (nee Angielski) and Anton Jaworski Sr both predeceased. Raised in farming communities in central Saskatchewan he moved to Dowling and shortly after retiring, moved to Sudbury in 1992. Tony worked for Falconbridge Nickel Mines retiring as a Hoistman in 1986, with over 30 years service. Tony is survived by his loving wife Celestine “Sally“ Jaworski (Osika) of Sudbury and three loving daughters: Wanda Schouten (husband Gerry Schouten) of Espanola, Pauline Jaworski (husband Kari Lindroos) of Sudbury and Annette Daoust (husband Jeannot Daoust) of Capreol. Loving Dziadek (grandfather) to Matthew, Tyler, Sheldon, Kaley, Eve, Katherine and Colin. He is further survived by brother James Jaworski of Regina, Saskatchewan, sister Freda Wanless of Brandon, Manitoba, sister Wilhelmena Verity of Outlook, Saskatchewan and sister Rose (husband Joe (Weisgerber of Weyburn, Saskatchewan. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sister Marg Kyryluk, brothers Ed Jaworski, Fred Jaworski, and infant brothers Harry Jaworski, and George Jaworski. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury. Funeral Mass in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 1250 Barrydowne Rd., Wednesday, August 1st, 2007 at 10 a.m. Interment in the Civic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Northeastern Ontario Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated. The family would like to thank all the staff at Laurentian, St. Joseph's and Memorial Hospitals and the Northeastern Ontario Regional Cancer Centre of Sudbury for all their help and support.
