Arnold Norman SAUVÉ

Arsidas Sauvé, of Smooth Rock Falls, died at the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital on July 9, 2007. He enjoyed being in the woods along with hunting and fishing and trapping. He also loved to go grocery shopping. He is survived by his children Lorraine (Henri) Desrochers, Claudette (Paul) Grenier, Diane (Lucien) Petit, Hervé (Micheline) Sauvé, Jean (Ursule) Sauvé, Gérald Sauvé of Terrace Bay and Laura McKay; grandchildren Estelle, Pierre, Mario, Suzanne, Dave, Lyne, Brigitte, Serge, Stéphane, François, Jackie and Shawn; great grandchildren Martin, Stéphanie, Karissa, Meagan, Kenzie, Chad, Cory, Austin, Dylan, Martin Gendron and Chanelle and siblings Denise (Léo) Thibeault, Rollande, (Ron) McGee, Helen Reed, Raymond (Lucia) Sauvé, Hervé Sauvé and Ovila (Thérèse) Sauvé. Mr. Sauvé was predeceased by his wife Corrine; parents Moise Sauvé and Laura Moreau; one sister Yolande Laviqueur and his brothers Roland Sauvé and Ernest (Juliette) Sauvé. Father Léo Papineau officiated at the funeral service July 12, 2007 at Ste. Gertrude Church, SRF. Cremation took place at Hillcrest Crematorium, followed by burial at the SRF Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Smooth Rock Falls Hospital. Funeral director was Guenette Funeral Home.
