Geertruida Dijkstra Passed away on / Décédé(e) le August 2, 2007 We regret to announce the death of Geertruida Dijkstra on Thursday, August 2 at Sensenbrenbner Hospital at the age of 81. She is survived by five daughters, Johanna Hutchinson wife of Paul of St. Catharines, Grietsje Boucher and Theresa Leclerc wife of Donald all of Kapuskasing, Wietske Dijkstra of Ottawa and Maria Girard wife of Dan of Timmins, two sisters, Trees v.d. Werf and Catharina v.d. Pol all of the Netherlands, three brothers, Frans, Accronius and Rein Kramer all of the Netherlands, as well as thirteen grandchildren, Trudy, Mathew, Sarah-Jane, Eddy, Daniel, Nathan, Jason, Melissa, Jennifer, Anik, Meaghan, Léanne and Maureen, two great grandchildren, Addison and Owen. She was predeceased by her husband, Tjebbe, one sister, Wietske Dinnissen and three brothers, Hendrik, Gerrit and Tjebbe Kramer. The funeral service was held on Monday, August 6 at 10:30 a.m. at St Patrick's church with Father Gilles Gosselin officiating. Interment followed at the Kapuskasing cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
