Reginald David BEAIRSTO

Reginald George James Beairsto died September 15, 2007, at the Temiskaming Hospital at the age of 71 following a brave battle with cancer. Mr. Beairsto was predeceased by his wife Dorothy Beairsto; father George Beairsto; son Wayne Beairsto; and friend Lou Gravelle. He is survived by his loving mother Mimie Hillman (and George); children Bob (and Janet), Rod, Julie (and Ray), Rhonda (and Maurice), Richard, Mark (and Sylvie), Scott (and Terri), and Mary; 12 grandchildren; siblings Web (and Denise), Marina (and John), George (and Pat), Louis (and Judy), Wilbert (and Rosita), Dave (and Bernie), Jack (and Sue), Laurie (and Bruce); and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Beairsto was known as a true gentleman throughout the community. He was respected by his peers as the “best” hunter of all time and for his knowledge of the mining field. The Beairsto family will welcome friends at the Buffam Leveille Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 19 beginning at 10 a.m. A memorial service will follow there at 11 a.m. Reverend Kitty Miller officiating. Interment will be at Silverland Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Community Cancer Support will be acknowledged by the family.
