MULLOY, Michael J. “Mike“ - In loving memory of Michael J. Mulloy, 91 years of Sudbury who passed away peacefully Friday, September 14th, 2007 at his home. Born in Transcona, Manitoba and married Marjorie (Vickers) in 1950 in Sudbury. Mike came to Sudbury in 1930. He worked at INCO for 42 years, retiring as the Coordinator of Audio Metric Department in 1978. A man of faith he was a member of St. Andrew's United Church where he actively participated in the Church's ministries and fellowship. He was on the Board of Directors of St. Andrew's Place since its inception in 1972. He was a past member of the VON Board of Directors. He enjoyed photography, hunting, fishing and gardening. He was a life member of Nickel Lodge #427 AF & AM; Sudbury Shrine Club; past patron of the Order of the Eastern Star and member of the Board of Directors of One Eleven Seniors. Beloved husband of Marjorie (Vickers) Mulloy of Sudbury. Loving father of John (Margaret) and Donald. Cherished grandfather of Andrew, Jordan and Alex. Dear brother of John predeceased (Beryl), Anne Cormack (James) both predeceased, Rose Bell (Walter) both predeceased. Sadly missed by nieces, nephews and sister-in-law Elsie Denault, and his canine pal Splash. A gathering will take place at JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME Friday, October 5th, 2007 for the purpose of a Masonic Service at 7 p.m. and Eastern Star Service at 7:30 p.m. Memorial Service in the St. Andrew's United Church, 111 Larch St., Sudbury Saturday, October 6th, 2007 at 11 a.m. Cremation with entombment at Civic Cemetery. Donations to Shriner's Children's Hospital Transportation Fund or charity of choice would be appreciated and may be made online at lougheed.org.
