Lucette BÉLISLE

Lucette Gauthier nee: Bélisle, of Hearst The funeral service for Hearst resident Lucette (née Bélisle) Gauthier, 80, of the Foyer des pionniers Nursing Home was held Sept. 15, 2007. She died Sept. 11 at Notre-Dame Hospital. Born July 18, 1927 in Labelle, Québec, she worked at Levesque Plywood Ltd (now Columbia Forest Products Hearst) for approximately 26 years. A member of the Hearst Solo Club and Royal Canadian Legion, she enjoyed traveling with friends. Predeceased by her husband Boniface Gauthier in 1973 and a daughter Micheline Gauthier of Hearst in 1996, she leaves a son Michel (Diane) Gauthier of Hearst, sisters Marguerite Hardy of Hearst and Jeannine St-Pierre of St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Qué,, granddaughters Lisa of Cochrane and Amélie of Hearst, and grandsons Gino of Kelowna, B.C., and Joël of Kapuskasing. Rev. Rémi Lessard directed the service at Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption Cathedral. Interment followed at Monsignor Pierre Grenier Cemetery. Commemorative donations may be made to the Foyer home.
