VANDEN AKKER, Johanna - Peacefully at Shalom Manor on Monday, September 24, 2007 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Cornelis (1973); loving mother of Rita and Tom Valstar, Hennie and John Broekema, Bert and Mieka Vanden Akker, Joanna and George Langbroek, Gertrude and Herman Graves and the late Leo (2005). Dear Oma to 16 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great- grandson. The family will receive friends at Trinity Christian Reformed Church, 1230 Old Martindale Road on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the church on Friday, September 28, 2007 at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shalom Manor. “Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's House are many rooms; if it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?
