FEDORKOW, Alex - Passed away suddenly at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto on Tuesday September 25, 2007 at the age of 14. Dearly loved and precious son of John and Debbie. Cherished brother of Michael and Camille. Beloved grandson of Baba Anne and her late husband Walter Fedorkow (2007) and Nana Shirley and her late husband Hugh MacIsaac. Dearly loved nephew of Sharon (Rob) Van Noort, Cathy Winger, Hugh (Terry) MacIsaac, Don (Jackie) MacIsaac, Rod (Kim) MacIsaac, Elizabeth Fedorkow (David Alles), Marlene (Simon) Nyilassy and Auntie Fran and Peggy. Alex will be lovingly remembered by his cousins who were so special to him; Bryanne (Anthony), Daniel, David, Ria, Eric, Bradley, Kailey, Kara, Kelsey, Melissa, the late Michelle (2003), Michael, Jesse, Cody, Darcy, Kay, Matthew, Stephanie, Sean and Claire. Alex was a graduate of St. Michael's Elementary School and currently attended Holy Cross Secondary School. Alex had a passion for nature, a love of cooking and baking, and a tremendous ability to make people laugh. His gentle nature and kindness to everyone he met is the legacy by which he will be remembered. Friends are invited to call at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. visiting Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass in celebration of his life will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Niagara-on- the-Lake. The Rite of Committal will follow at Fairview Cemetery. The Vigil for Alex will be celebrated Friday at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home. To honour Alex's love of cooking, contributions to a scholarship fund to be established in his memory at Niagara College's School of Culinary Arts would be appreciated by his family.
