HUNTER, Gordon William - Passed away peacefully, at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener, on Friday, September 28, 2007, at the age of 81. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn Hunter. Loving father of Ken, Brian (Carol) and Steven (Robin). Proud grandfather of Christopher (Michelle), Paul, David and Shaun. Cherished Great-Papa of Katheryne-Eva. Dear brother of Alton Hunter and brother-in-law of Elsie Hunter, Doug (Joan) Blackman and Dawn Blackman. Predeceased by his brother, Jim and his sister, Violet. Gordon was the proprietor of Hunter's Service Station on Krug St. in Kitchener for over 20 years. Gordon's family will receive friends and relatives at the Westmount Funeral Chapel, 1001 Ottawa Street South (at Westmount Rd.), Kitchener, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated and may be arranged by contacting the funeral home at (519) 743- 8900.
