Donalda CAMERON

CAMERON, Donalda April 30, 1929 - September 16, 2007 It is with sorrow that the family of Mary Ellen Donalda (Donnie) Cameron announce her death at her home after a long illness. It was a peaceful death. Deo gratias. Donnie was the cherished first-born of Angus J. and Ida (Foley) Cameron; dear sister of Lois Anne, Shirley and her husband Gavin Kempton, the late Gerald and his wife Phyllis, Stuart and his wife Ruth and Stanley and his wife Peggy; and beloved aunt of John and Laurie-Anne Kempton, Corinne, Blaine, David and his wife Karin and Michael Cameron and Christina and her husband Jeff Lucas and their children Maxwell and Liam. We wish to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Dr. D. Su and Dr. S. Budge and to the CCAC team whose dedication made it possible for Donnie to remain at home as she wished. In particular we acknowledge the devotion of caregiver Carole-Anne Campbell ("our adopted sister"), Susann Wilgosh, Stephanie Whyte, Diane Turner and Joanne McCoy. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa on Friday, September 21st from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. with Tributes at 8:15 p.m. Funeral Saturday, September 22nd to St. Maurice Roman Catholic Church, 4 Perry Street for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery.
