RHÉAL RAOUL LUSIGNAN Est décédé paisiblement, entouré de sa famille, le mercredi 19 septembre 2007, à l'âge de 56 ans au Centre de santé Élisabeth Bruyère suite à une vaillante et courageuse lutte contre le cancer. Il était l'époux bien-aimé de Colleen Lusignan; père dévoué d'Amanda (Stephen), Tara (Sean), Derrick, D'Arcy, Michael et Nicholas et le fier grand-père de Nathaniel. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents Jean-Wilfred et Germaine et par sa soeur Gisèle (Richard). Il était le frère bien-aimé d'Euclide (Carolle), Roger (Patsy), Pierrette (Maurice), Armande (Rhéal), Denis, Jean-Marc (Joan), Claire, Linda (Luigi). Rhéal sera aussi regretté par plusieurs neveux, nièces, petits-neveux, petites-nièces, ami(e)s et voisins. Un remerciement tout spécial à tout le personnel du Centre Élisabeth Bruyère, celui de l'hôpital Civic et celui du centre de cancérologie de l'hôpital Général pour les excellents soins et toute la compassion exprimée lors du séjour de Rhéal. La famille recevra parents et amis à la maison funéraire Racine Robert & Gauthier, 180 chemin Montréal (entre les rues Cyr et Savard) le samedi 22 septembre 2007 de 19h à 21h et le dimanche 23 septembre de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h. La messe des funérailles sera célébrée en l'église St-Sébastien, 1000 rue Frances (de la rue Donald) le lundi 24 septembre 2007, à 11h. L'inhumation suivra au cimetière Notre-Dame. Des dons à la Fondation du Centre Élisabeth Bruyère seraient grandement appréciés. Beloved husband of Colleen Lusignan. Devoted father of Amanda (Stephen), Tara (Sean), Derrick, D'Arcy, Michael and Nicholas. Proud grandfather of Nathaniel. Predeceased by his parents Jean-Wilfred and Germaine and by his sister Gisele (Richard). Cherished brother of Euclide (Carolle), Roger (Patsy), Pierrette (Maurice), Armande (Rheal), Denis, Jean-Marc (Joan), Claire, Linda (Luigi). Rheal will be greatly missed by many nieces, nepphews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, friends and neighbours. A special heartfelt thanks to all the staff at the Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital, the Civic Hospital and the Cancer Centre at the General Hospital for their excellent care and compassion expressed during Rheal's stay. The family will receive friends at Racine, Robert and Gauthier Funeral Home & Chapel 180 Montreal Road (between Cyr and Savard Streets) on Saturday, September 22, 2007 from 7-9 pm and on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral mass on Monday at 11 am at St. Sebastien Church, 1000 Frances Street (off Donald), followed by interment at Notre-Dame Cemetery.
