Rev. Alexander A. Mackenzie Anglican Minister - Diocese of Ottawa Peacefully on Thursday, September 20, 2007 at the age of 86. Dear son of the late Robert Mackenzie and the late Margaret Brydon. Loving husband of 47 years of Iris Marie Breaden. He will be sadly missed by his sons Calum and Sean (Marie) as well as his grandchildren Megan and Liam. He will also be missed by his younger sister Ella (Edinburgh, Scotland). Survived by his cousin George Evans (Port Elgin). Rev. Mackenzie was a Burma Star Veteran and a proud member of St. Andrews Lodge (Masonic). Predeceased by his brother John. Family and friends are invited to Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral home (180 Montreal Rd, Ottawa) 613-241-3680 on Monday, September 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 25 at Church of St. Bartholomew (125 Mackay St., Ottawa) at 11 a.m. For those wishing, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
