OBITUARY WILLIAM (BILL) DAY Passed away in BC on September 11, 2007 at Langley Memorial Hospital after a long and valiant battle with chronic pulmonary disease. Born in Vancouver on November 28, 1919, Bill served overseas with the Royal Air Force in WWII. He passed away with the same dignity, courage and strength with which he lived his whole life. He was our best friend, confident, strong, honest, kind and was always there for any friend in need. He loved and cherished his family and had a marvelous sense of humour. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Bernice, his daughters Judy (Bob Fargey) and Ruth (Ed Kieboom) of Calgary; Lillian Day of Toronto, son Michael (Martha) of Vermont and stepdaughter Karen (Roy Heaps) of White Rock, BC. He was an adored grandfather to Troy Fargey, Vancouver, Scott (Candice) Fargey, Strathmore, Tracey Quigg, Toronto, David and Robert Kieboom, Calgary and step-grandchildren Kyla, Ashley and Matthew Boucher, Vancouver and nine great-grandchildren. Survived by sister Helen Grant of Markham, sisters-in-law Mary Cuthbertson, Coquitlam and Lal Forsyth, Montreal. Predeceased by first wife Margaret Simpson, brothers Herb and Fred.
