STONE, Velma Edith (nee Stringer) Passed away with her son by her side on Friday, September 21, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of the late James A. Stone. Loving mother of Tom (Cathy) and the late Susan. Cherished gramma of Natalie, Stephanie and Jim. Dear sister of Robert and the late Gordon. Also loved by her many nieces and nephews. The family wish to thank Dr. Susan Gick as well as the caring and attentive staff of the CCAC, Hospice At May Court and the Court at Barrhaven. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 3000 Woodroffe Avenue (south of Fallowfield) Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday after 2 p.m. followed by Funeral Service in the Chapel at 4:00 p.m. In Memory of Velma, donations to the Hospice at May Court would be appreciated.
