INNUS, Bruno July 6, 1922 - September 23, 2007 At home suddenly, while peacefully asleep. Loving and caring husband of Dzidra and dedicated father of Dagnija, Andris, and Ilona. Grandfather of Matthew, Joanna, Livija, Justin and Haley. Bruno had a long and active life, immigrating from Latvia at the close of the Second World War and raising a family and a business in Montreal before continuing his retirement in Ottawa. A man that could not sit still. A man that enjoyed his golf at the Royal Ottawa Golf Club. With the return of independence to his homeland, he was a determined advocate and activist for furthering a just democracy and for improving the condition of his countrymen. His example of drive and selflessness for his family (near and far), his friends (close and occasional) and his countries (Latvia and Canada), while keeping a wry sense of humour even under difficult times will be missed. Friends are invited to visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Avenue at Richmond Road on Thursday, September 27th from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, September 28th at 11:30 a.m. ARDIEVU!
