ORTENZI, Sante. 1934-2007. Passed away peacefully in Montreal, on September 24, 2007 after a lengthy courageous battle with cancer, at the age of seventy-two years old. Beloved husband of Assunta Cesari. Cherished father of Marianna (Allan), Sestilio (Gina) and Bruno. Loving grandfather of Susan and Alexia. He also leaves to mourn his sister Rosa (Luciano), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and other family members and friends. The family will receive condolences at: on Thursday, September 27, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. and Friday as of 11 a.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 28, 2007 at 1 p.m. at St-John-Brebeuf Church, 7777 Georges St., Lasalle. Special thanks to Dr. Hings and the staff of the oncology dept. at the Montreal General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
