SWITZER, Douglas Alfred Peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at age 77. Beloved father of Douglas Jr. (Darlene), Catherine (Bill Bennett), Karen (Greg Woods), Darren (Shanty) and their Mom Betty. Bompa to Lindsay, Kristyn and Kaitlin. Great-grandfather to Madison. Survived by his siblings Lois, Beryl, Bruce, Keith, Marion, Lloyd, Brian, also many nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Friday, September 28, at Pinecrest Visitation Centre (2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa) from 4 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the Pinecrest Chapel at 7 p.m. Cremation. A special thank you to the caring staff at West End Villa, 4th Floor. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association or Heart & Stroke would be appreciated.
