OBITUARY MARIA KULYCKY 1920 - 2007 Maria Kulycky, nee Konowalec, born in Stremilche, Ukraine on April 29, 1920, died peacefully in Montreal on September 27, 2007, following a lengthy and courageous battle with illness. She was the lifelong devoted wife of the late Josef Kulycky, loving and dedicated mother of Anya ( George Harasymowycz) and Yourko (Vera Turko), adoring babtsia of Pavlo, Olenka, Markian, Sonia and Michael, and cherished bunia of Emilia and Sophia. She will be dearly missed by her sisters in law Stefania Konowalec and Margaret Kulycky, cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews and by many relatives and friends in Canada, Ukraine and the US. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at the funeral home to a charity of the family's choice. Sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses of the Royal Victoria Hospital, the Montreal Neurological Institute and special thanks to doctor Jeffrey Barkun. Visitation will be held at corner of St-Michel, on Sunday, September 30th from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, October 1st from 7 to 9 p.m. Panachyda both nights at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services on Tuesday, October 2nd at 10 a.m. at the Assumption the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 6175, 10th ave. in Rosemount, corner of Bellechasse.
