MAYER, John. Passed away peacefully September 26, 2007 after a long illness at the age of seventy-one. He was a loving husband of Katalin (Horvath). Father of John, George and Frank, father-in-law of Heather and Caroline. Grandfather of Nick and wife Loni, Kayla, Mariska and Audrey and great-grandfather of Owain. Brother of two sisters in Hungary, Katalin and Maria and their families. He will be sadly missed by all. A remembrance service will be held at Our Lady of Hungary Church, 90 Ouest, Rue Gizot, Montreal, Quebec, H2P 1L4, on Friday, October 5, 2007 at 2 p.m. Flowers can be received Friday morning before noon or you may make a donation to a charity of your choice.
