Ronald Long 1927-2007 `A l'Hôpital de Moncton, le mercredi 12 septembre 2007, à l'âge de 79 ans, est décédé après une longue maladie, Ronald Long, domicilié à la Pointe-du-Chêne. Né à Moncton le 21 septembre 1927, il était fils de feu Raymond Long et de feu Delta Wilson. Ronald a travaillé pendant 37 ans au C. N. Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse depuis 24 ans, Rachel (St.James ) Long, une fille, Diane Murphy (Michael) de Californie, un fils, David Petit-Clerc d'Edmonton, AB, une petite-fille, Danielle, ainsi qu'un arrière-petit-fils, Austin. Selon ses voeux, il n'y aura pas de visites ou de funérailles. L'inhumation se fera au cimetière Saint-Joseph à Shédiac. `A la demande de la famille, un don à la société canadienne du cancer serait apprécié. Born September 21, 1927 in Moncton, he was the son of the late Raymond and Delta (Wilson) Long. Ronald was employed with C.N.R. for 37 years prior to his retirement in 1982. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Rachel (St. James) Long; a daughter, Diane Murphy (Michael) of California; a son, David Petit-Clerc of Edmonton, AB; one granddaughter, Danielle and a great grandson, Austin. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. Interment will be in St. Joseph Roman Catholic Cemetery, Shediac. In Ronald's memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
