HAWKER, HAZEN - Mr. Hazen Hawker of Coles Island passed away peacefully at his residence on September 22, 2007 at the age of 72. He was the son of the late William and Lucille (Wilson) Hawker. Hazen is survived by Elsie (Corey) his wife of 51 years; his step-mother, Alice (Brown) Hawker of Coles Island; his children, Hazen (Maureen) of Fredericton, Debra Hawker (Dieter Kromm) of Calgary, Richard (Debra) of Shediac, Patty Darrah (Peter) of Sussex, Larry (Laura) of Waterloo, Ontario, Trina Scott (Stephen) of Fredericton and Cathy Daponte (Nelson) of Burton; two brothers, John Wiggins (Linda) of Youngs Cove and Bryant Hawker (Kim) of Riverview; his sister, Yvonne Austin (Bill) of Chipman; 16 grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176), where visitation will be held Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held from Wallace Community Chapel on Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at 11:00 am. The interment will take place at Coles Island Cemetery. Donations made to the Hazen Hawker Scholarship Fund sponsored by the Grand Washademoak Lions Club or to the memorial of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family. September 24, 2007
