Pius (Benny) MacMillan Pius (Benny) MacMillan 85, of Moncton, with members of his family at his side, passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital on Tuesday morning, September 25, 2007. Born in Saint Andrews, PE, he was the son of the late William and Mary (Ryan) MacMillan. Benny was retired from the N.B. Liquor Commission (31 years service). He attended St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church and was a former Usher. He was a Charter member of the Knights of Columbus # 7940, member of St. Augustine's Bowling Team, member of Air Force Veterans Club, Moncton Legion # 6, Moncton Legion # 6 Seniors Club and former volunteer for Ray of Hope Kitchen. Benny will be sadly missed by his wife, Rita (Morrison) (Maillet) MacMillan; Daughters, Brenda Mazerolle (Camille), Moncton, Eileen Forgrave (Clarence), Saint John, Susan Arsenault (Robert), Moncton, Paula MacMillan (Jim Wilson), Springhill, NS; Step-Daughter, Diane Doiron (Yvon), Moncton; Grandchildren, Lisa, Karen, Celina, Julia, Nadine, Rachelle, Natalie; Great Grandchildren, Jamal, Nathan, Morgan, Lauren, Lacey, Dahlia; Sister, Veronica Catalano, Orange, Mass; Several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his 1st wife, Doreen (Leger) (1993); Granddaughter, Sara; Sisters, Ann Lewis, Carolyn MacDougall; Brothers, Bernard, Michael, Alphonous, Wilbert. Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995), Wednesday 2 to 4, 7 to 9. Moncton Legion # 6 Memorial Service, Wednesday 4pm. Funeral Mass at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, Thursday September 27, 2007, 11am. Rev. Yvon Arsenault officiating. Reception following the Service. Interment, Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe. In Benny's memory, donations to Ray of Hope Kitchen, Friends of the Moncton Hospital (Palliative Care) or memorial of choice would be appreciated.
