BASTEN, Carter James - Suddenly as the result of a motor vehicle accident at RR#1 Lyndhurst on Sunday October 7, 2007. Carter Basten of Lyndhurst in his 21st year. Beloved son of Jill and James Basten. Dear brother of Danielle (Jason) Coughlin of Douro. Hunter (Melissa) of Lyndhurst. Cherished grandson of Patricia and Arthur Basten of Lyndhurst, Doris Andress of Gananoque and the Late George Andress. Proud uncle of Joseph, most beloved friend of Beth Cassell. Fondly remembered by several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. The family will receive friends at the SCOTLAND FUNERAL HOME, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Wednesday from 7-9 and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral Service in the Lyndhurst Legion (County Rd. #33, just west of Lyndhurst) on Friday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment Lyndhurst Cemetery.
