Bob BATEMAN

BATEMAN, Bob - On October 6th, 2007 in his eighty fifth year. With much sadness, we announce our Dad's peaceful passing with us “his two girls“ at his side. Loving husband and best friend of the late Irene - July 2006, for 60 years. In our hearts and loved forever by us and our families; Barb and Dale Shewfelt, Poppa to Keegan and Cale, Jane Bateman and Dennis and Poppa to Julia Bateman. Dad was a great hunter and fisherman in his earlier years. We enjoyed early morning fishing trips and a thermos of tea with him. Memories of his easy going nature, witty sense of humor and his amazing whistling ability are with us in warm memories. Dad was a World War Veteran. He was a Past member of the Lakefield Legion and the Lakefield Lions Club. A huge Thank You to the caring team at Lakefield Extendicare. Warmest Thanks to the gentle care from all the staff in Kawartha House. Special Thanks and a hug to Sharon, Debbie, Margo, Dawn, Melissa, Rob and Tom.
