POTVIN, Berthe (née Belzile) - Berthe Potvin 90 years old left this earth peacefully on October 4, 2007. Predeceased by her husband Lionel Potvin. Much appreciated and loved by her children Oscar and wife Annette, Richard and friend Merlè, Conrad and wife Murielle, Marcel and wife Ruth, Denis and wife Heather, Gisèle, Ginette and husband Kari Suutari Monique and husband Richard Pitre and her 14 grandchildren Richard Jr., Carole, Lise, Nicole, Marc, Michel, Gilles, Daniel, Rochelle, Melissa, Matthieu, Martin, Isabelle and Olivia and 16 great grandchildren. Berthe was born in Bic (Rimouski) Quebec, grew up in Hanmer, lived in McFarlane Lake and Toronto, and died in Sudbury. Over the course of her life Berthe was an avid gardener, a creative painter, wrote poetry, designed and sewed, did pottery and so much more. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of the Hillcrest neighbourhood at St. Joseph Villa for their loving and compassionate care.
