BROWN, Kenneth “Ken“ - In loving memory of Kenneth “Ken“ Brown, 77 years, who passed away at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - St. Joseph's Health Center on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007. Loving son of Thomas and Edith Brown (both predeceased). Dear uncle of Ken Austin (wife Marie) of London, ON, Cindy Herard (late husband Bob) of Port Dover, Scott Austin (wife Rhonda) of Capreol, Glen of Hanmer and Keith Austin (wife Lynn) of Capreol. Predeceased by his sister Marnie (surviving husband Glen Austin of Hanmer). Ken was born in Parry Sound on September 29th, 1930 and later became a resident of Capreol. From 1950 - 1975, he was a member of the Canadian Forces Navy (Petty Officer 2nd Class). After retiring from the Navy, he worked as a security guard at the Data Centre in Sudbury for several years. Ken was a proud and active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 179 in Capreol. As per his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation at Park Lawn Crematorium. The interment of his ashes will take place in Parry Sound at a later date. Donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
