NEVILLE, Thomas James - In loving memory of Thomas James Neville, 51 years, who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on October 5th, 2007. Tom was born in Port au Port, Newfoundland and came to Sudbury at an early age where he met and married his best friend and wife of 30 years, Brenda (Dempsey) Neville of Sudbury. He is also survived by his children, his greatest accomplishment, daughter Christina (husband Paul Evans) of Bowmanville and son Thomas Jr. (fiancé Diane Turgeon) of Sudbury, and his pride and joy grandson Brayden Thomas Evans and step- granddaughter Tavlyn Evans. He is the son of Michael (predeceased) and Celestine Neville. He is survived by his brothers Gregory (Linda predeceased) of Sudbury, William (Margaret) of Sudbury, Roger of Azilda, Frank of Sudbury, Sylvester (Ester) of New York, Michael (Sharon) of Sudbury, Timothy (Diane) of Garson, his sisters Yvonne (Frank Schurott) of Florida, Veronica (Donald Dash) of Florida, Monica (Kenneth Sidwell) of Ohio, Ann of Azilda, Celestine (Perry Blanchard) of Elliot Lake, Janita (Pat) of Elliot Lake, Mary (Gary Curran) of New York. Predeceased by his brothers Dennis and Walter and ten brothers and sisters who died as infants. He will be missed by his many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a large circle of friends. Thomas worked for CPR Railway in a variety of jobs, culminating as a Conductor/Engineer. Tom will always be remembered for his quick wit and wonderful sense of humour. He was an avid hunter and one of the best speckle trout fishermen you could ever find and a wonderful hockey player and coach. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St., at Hazel St. Funeral Mass in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 1250 Barrydowne Rd., Sudbury, Wednesday, October 10th, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Prayers 8:00 p.m Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, donations to the N.E.O.R.C.C. or My Sudbury Needs a Hospice would be appreciated.
