DOW, Ross Ernest - In loving memory of Ross Ernest Dow, who passed away on September 29, 2007 after a courageous three and a half year battle with cancer. Ross was 56 years old. He and his wife, Linda (nee) Taylor, were born and raised in Sudbury Ontario, Canada. They moved to North Carolina in 1980, with their two sons, Charlie and Paul. Ross was president and founding co-worker of Mr. Doorman, Inc. of Charlotte, N.C. He will be remembered as a hard worker, faithful friend, devoted son, father, grandfather, and a wonderful, and loving husband. Preceded in death in 2006, by his father, Paul, Ross is survived by his wife; Linda, sons; Charlie and Paul, his mother; Iva, and a sister; Muriel (Mrs. Walter Shmayda). He will be sorely missed by his daughters-in-law, Kelley and Kathleen, his three grandsons; Henry, Campbell, and Ernie, and many other relatives and friends. Those wishing to pay their respects may visit the family on October 4, 2007 at HARTSELL FUNERAL HOME- Concord 460 Branchview Drive Concord, NC from 3 PM until 5 PM and 7 PM until 9 PM. Family and friends will celebrate Ross's life in a private wake at their home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation 5950 Fairview Suite 250 Charlotte, NC 28210 or to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County 5003 Hospice Lane Kannapolis, NC 28081.
