William John DEWAR

DEWAR, William John (Bill) - 1951-2007 - In loving memory of William John (Bill) Dewar, who passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on October 10, 2007. Bill was born and raised in the Greater Sudbury area, retiring in March 2007 after 32 years of service as a millwright for CVRD-INCO. He also was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing speckled trout. He leaves behind his beloved wife and best friend Carol Ann Dewar (née Hawley) of Sudbury and is sadly missed by his four children Kim Gollan (husband Rob), Bill Jr. (fiancée Kelly Leipela), Sean Lamothe, Sara Lamothe and his 2 step children Michael Roy and Julianna Roy and his 2 grandchildren Erika and Amber Gollan all of Sudbury. Bill was the son of the late Laurie John Dewar 1998 and the late Patricia Dewar (née Brown) 1992 and dear son-in-law to Helen Hawley (friend Leo). Loving brother of Sharon (husband Ronald Zuck) of North Bay, Bonnie (husband Dave Butler) and Bob Dewar both of Thunder Bay, Judith Dewar predeceased 1997 and Donna Lynn Pollock (husband John) of Copper Cliff. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. At Bill's request there will be no visitation, everyone is welcome to a celebration of his life. A Memorial Funeral Service will be held Friday October 19th, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in St-Andrew the Apostle Church, Sudbury. Donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be appreciated.
