Burey''s Memorial May 19, 1936 - October 2, 2003 Four years ago, today we took an unexpected turn on life''s highway with a dedicated husband, a delightful father, and an understanding grandfather. As time unfolds another year, memories keep him ever near. For this family, the changing of the weather is like the change in our lives for the past four years. We are the reflection of his life. The love we give to others is the love he gave us. The beauty we see in the world, we first saw in his eyes. The treasures of family and friends were his gift to us. His passion for life is what comforts us to look to the future with confidence and flexibility, with a heart of respect for others. He taught us that we could choose to be happy rather than bitter, and leave room for encouragement. In spite of the wound that never heals, time eases the edge of grief, memory turns back every page. God has you in His keeping and we have you in our hearts. Flowers leave their fragrance on the hand that bestows them. That is why you still live on in the hearts and minds of your loving family: wife Detha, children: Karen, Wayne, Stephen, Richard, Esther, Florence and grandchildren. 0
