MCSAVAGE, Alan - Beloved husband of Helga, in his 72nd year and after 53 years of marriage, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Friday, October 5, 2007. Loving father of Alan (Margaret), John (Sue), Heidi Rolland, Margorie Willis (Don) and grandfather of Jessica, Christopher, Michael, Eric, Luke, Adam, Danny, Richelle, Laura, Cooper, Cally and great-grandfather of Kallum. Predeceased by his mother Eveline and his father John. Alan was a retired Platoon Chief after 30 years of service with the Brantford Fire Department, also served 6 years with the Canadian Army, and established the Brant Choraleens, a women's barbershop chorus. Alan was also an accredited pastor with the Greater Emmanuel International Fellowship. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross St., Brantford on Tuesday, October 9, 2007, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Memorial service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association appreciated. www.dennistoll.ca 10856084
