HOPKINS, GOLDWYN ALEXANDER 1924 - 2007 Born January 15, 1924 in Gaspereau Forks, Goldwyn Alexander Hopkins (Goldie) passed away peacefully at his home September 29, 2007. He was a loving and caring husband, dedicated father and Grandfather. Goldie was also a life long woods man and farmer. He leaves behind a loving wife of 49 years, Edna (Parker) Hopkins; four children, Gordon Hopkins of Fredericton, NB, Roger Hopkins (Kathy) of Chipman, NB, Tammy McTiernan (Tommy) and Audrey Morrell (Allan) both of Minto, NB; sisters, Myrtle, Faye, Ruby, Mary, Dorothy, Ruth, Verna and Marina; six grandchildren, Jason, Gregory, Amanda, Mitchel, Cortney and Becky. He was predeceased by his parents, Carl and Beatrice (Murray) Hopkins; brothers, Murray and Charlie Hopkins; sister, Hazel Hopkins. Resting at the Grand Lake Community Chapel (43 Main St. Chipman, NB 339-5522) with visiting on Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm and from where funeral service will be held 2:00PM Tuesday, October 2, 2007 with Pastor Kris Austin officiating. Interment will follow in the Redbank United Church Cemetery, Chipman, NB.
