McBRIDE, THOMAS AUSTIN - The death of Thomas Austin McBride of St. Martins, husband of the late Winnifred (Godsoe) McBride occurred September 30, 2007 at Saint John Regional Hospital. He was born at Hanford Brook, NB and was the son of the late Joseph and Theresa (McDermott) McBride. Thomas was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church and the Concern Citizen's Group. He worked at the Saint John Shipbuilding Limited for 29 years. He is survived by two daughters, Cathy Brown (Eugene) and Candy McBride both of St. Martins; two sons, Barry McBride (Pam), Winnipeg, MB, Randy McBride (Heidi), Ottawa, ON; two sisters, Mary O'Brien, Fredericton, Margaret Sherwood, Hampton; one brother, Edward McBride (Regina), Hampton; four granddaughters, Carrie Pearson (Ralph), Sussex, Catrina Dunham (Mike), Bridgewater, NS, Victoria and Vanessa McBride, Ottawa, ON; six great granddaughters, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother William McBride. There will be no visiting by request of the family. The funeral mass will be held Wednesday, 11:00 am at St. Williams Catholic Church, St. Martins. Interment will take place in the adjoining cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Williams Catholic Church Building Fund or to donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
