Ida "Ada" LeBlanc 1911 - 2007 PORT ELGIN, NB - The death of Ida "Ada" LeBlanc, age 96, of Port Elgin, passed away at the Westford Nursing Home on Monday, October 1, 2007. Born in Sackville, she was a daughter of the late Jacques and Eugenie (Leger) Arsenault. She was a member of the Club d'age d'Or, and a member of St. Timothy's Church, Shemogue. She was a well practiced mid wife in Little Cape, having delivered over 150 children. She was a great lady, always willing to give shelter and a good meal to anyone who visited. She is survived by a son, Donald A. LeBlanc (Claudette) of Shediac River, NB; three grandchildren, Victor, Wendy and Linda; three step grandchildren, Cathy, Danny and Janice; several great and step-great grandchildren; a sister in law, Anida Arsenault, Memramcook, and brother in law Valerie Brian, Moncton; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Adolphe LeBlanc; four sisters, Eva Brian, Emerise Furlotte, Elizabeth Rogers and Marceline Arsenault; five brothers, Fred, Alderice, Edward, Leo and Romeo. Arrangements are entrusted to the Jones Funeral Home, Port Elgin, NB (538-2241). Visiting Hours will be held in the St. Theresa d'Avila Slumber Room, Cap Pele, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated from the St. Timothy Roman Catholic Church, Greater Shemogue on Friday, October 5, 2007 at 11 am.
