GAYNES, JUDY A. - With heavy hearts the family of Judy Ann (Pineo) Gaynes announce she passed away peacefully following a courageous battle on October 3, 2007 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB, she was a daughter of Marie (Leopold) and the late James Pineo. Judy was employed with the Canadian Red Cross as a home support worker. She loved nature and the outdoors, had a strong interest in health and wellness and enjoyed reading. Besides her mother she is survived by one daughter, Anna (Douglas) Glew and her two grand children, Jesse and Bailee of Chilliwack, BC; three brothers, Gary (Linda) Pineo, Brian (Patricia) Pineo and James Pineo; two sisters, Anna (Terry) Lindsay and Cheryl (Stephen) Gosson, all of Saint John; best friend, Cathy Richardson and special friend Ralph Shanahan. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB, (634-7424) with visiting on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2007, at 10:00 am, from Brenan's Chapel. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery.
