PIERCY, TYSON ANDREW - It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Tyson Andrew Piercy of Fredericton at the age of 19. Born in Fredericton, he was a self taught artist who loved to paint and sketch. Tyson played hockey from Timbits to Bantam, was an avid downhill skier, and played varsity football for F.H.S. on the 2005 and 2006 Championship Teams. He had a great zest for life and was surrounded by a tremendous group of friends. Tyson was recently working in the field of masonry. He is survived by his loving parents, Ted and Louise "Lulu" Piercy of Fredericton; brother, Todd Wallace Piercy of Edmonton, Alberta; chosen brother, David Andrew Pepin (Jenn Parker) of Cold Lake, Alberta; paternal grandfather, Ewen "Mike" Piercy of Fredericton; maternal grandparents, Ron and Doris Dillon of Fredericton; uncles, Tim (Wendy) Piercy, Tom (Janet) Piercy, Terry (Debbie) Piercy all of Fredericton; aunts Annette (Bob) Munn of Lincoln, Karen (Geoff) Munn of Fredericton, Joy Asher (Kevin Ryan) of Harvey; great uncles, Leonard Mansfield of Saint John, Vincent Mansfield of Toronto; great aunt, Ruby Piercy of Harvey; several cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Florence "Honey" Piercy; his maternal grandfather, Clement Pepin; aunt, Juanita Piercy; cousin, Andrew Piercy. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, where visitation will be held Saturday evening from 7-9 pm and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held Monday, October 8, 2007 at 2:00 pm from Lincoln Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Sparkes officiating assisted by Rev. Monte Peters. Interment to follow in the Lower Lincoln Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be Dylan Sullivan, Nick Porter, Brendan Lawrence, Adam Ketch, Jared DeLong, Zach Wiggins.
